SUMMARY:Chickenhead Blues Band with Brick City Kitchen Food Truck
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we kick off the weekend with the “New Orleans boogie-woogie\, upbeat\, rhythm and blues” sounds of the CHICKENHEAD BLUES BAND. Performing live inside our tropical oasis\, the glass house conservatory! Friday\, April 24th\, from 6 to 8:30pm. No cover. Open to all. (*For those that like to plan ahead\, the Chickenhead Blues Band will be performing live the 4th Friday of every other month. Scheduled through the remainder of 2026 – April\, June\, August\, October\, and the ‘3rd’ Friday in December) \nBio:\nChickenhead Blues Band’s history begins in 1999 with weekly legendary Thursday evening shows playing blues tunes at Durty nelly’s pub. A few personnel changes led to the more fusion influenced repertoire presented now. You will hear a taste of New Orleans\, Jazz Crusaders\, Tom Scott and LA Express\, Jimi Hendrix mixed\, in with some original songs\, as well. \nBand members: \nAric van Brocklin – Guitar\nSkip Haga – Keyboards\nJeff Louderback – Drums\nJack Sheehan – Sax\nVic Brown – Bass \n(*Occasionally there are changes to band members and updates are made based on info received ahead of the scheduled date.) \nBrick City Kitchen food truck will be onsite. Cooking up a fantastic menu of their “comfort seafood and American classics”\, with service beginning at 5:30pm.\nhttps://www.facebook.com/brickcitykitchen \nOur live music events typically take place within the beautiful space of the glass conservatory\, our indoor tropical oasis. On occasion\, the music may perform outdoors\, under the eaves of the back deck. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available first come\, no reservations. \nPicnics are welcome throughout the property\, barring any outside alcohol. We have plentiful seating areas indoors and outdoors\, across all areas of the winery/brewery property. Feel free to bring your blankets/chairs. Pop up tents and personal grills are permitted for use in the overflow grassy tailgate and picnic areas. \nGlass House Winery wines (by glass or bottle) and Glass House Brewery beers (by pint glass) will be available at both the Tasting Room Bar and the Glass Theater Brewpub (during their respective operating hours detailed below). \nChildren are welcome\, please supervise them at all times. Consider bringing along games or other items to entertain them while seated. \nWell behaved dogs are also welcome but must remain on their leash at all times.
