Join us in the tropics of Free Union for a relaxing Sunday Fun Day with Marc Carraway at the helm, entertaining all with his awesome acoustic tunes. Sunday, December 20th, from 2 to 5pm. No cover.

Marc Carraway performed and toured professionally throughout the 1980’s and 90’s, as a solo singer-songwriter and as a member of Tidewater-based bands Now & Then, Skipper’s Folly, and the Bay Trading Company, sharing bills with the Tony Rice Unit, the Kingston Trio, Martin Simpson, and Tom Paxton. The Mary Washington Bullet called him “…one of this region’s stellar performers.” With several albums to his credit on the Tidewater-based Waterbound Records, Marc has received extensive airplay for several songs, including “Barrel of a Gun,” and more recently, with “All These Roads.” He plays mandolin and banjo, as well as guitar, and does much of the lead singing and songwriting for Scuffletown. Please note, weather permitting the music will be outdoors — set up under the eaves on the back deck. Glass House Winery owner Jay has recently added several fire pits along the deck adding a beautiful ambience as well as an aid to keep you cozy on the cooler days.

In the case of inclement weather, check our social media posts or call the Tasting Room:
~ the music may be canceled
~ the music may move into the tropical conservatory where, due to social distancing requirements, there is limited, spaced seating (with overflow seating on the covered deck)
~ if the music moves into the conservatory, there may be a need to downsize the number of band members
~ a passing light shower might be okay, but patrons should be prepared
Please check our Social Media posts or call the Tasting Room for an update.
We have plenty of spaced seating areas, the majority of which is outdoors — all seating areas are first come, based on what is available. We also have lots of room for tailgate/picnics on the grass, also first come.

We encourage you to bring your picnic blanket/ chairs. Pop up tents and personal grills are also welcome to be used at the overflow grassy tailgate and picnic areas. Picnics are welcome, barring any outside alcohol.
Groups over 8 wishing to sit together must phone ahead. Seating accommodations will be made based on what is available.
The Tasting Room Bar is closed from Friday at 5 pm through the weekend, EXCEPT for to go sales and wine club pick ups.
While we are not offering traditional tastings we have created several Wine Tasting Flights, including a Chocolate and a wine pairing flight.
The following measures are in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all of our guests, as well as our staff:
Practice Social Distancing and please do not gather with others outside of your immediate group, for any reason. We kindly request that you wear face masks when not at your seating area, and face masks must be worn indoors when not at your seating area.
We will be adhering to, and strictly enforcing, all requirements and guidelines as set forth by the Governor and the CDC, which include increased sanitization and cleaning procedures to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff.
At all times, please maintain the minimum safe distance from those not in your group.
We all know that music and dancing go hand in hand, however, if you are going to get up and groove to the tunes, we kindly ask that you stick to the vicinity of your seated area and wear your mask while doing so.
Children are welcome but must stay with you at all times. Consider bringing along games or other items to entertain them while seated. Well behaved dogs are also welcome but must remain on their leash at all times.
