Band Bio:
Boxed Lunch is a Charlottesville VA based indie pop/rock band led by the melodic songwriting duo of Justin Storer (drums/vocals) and Joel Streeter (guitar/vocals), with help from Nick Berkin (keyboards/vocals), Emily Gardiner (vocals) and Zack Beamer (bass/vocals). Justin and Joel have been following each other around the country for years without knowing it, finally meeting and joining forces in 2018. Both formerly of San Francisco and Brooklyn, they share a love for The Beatles and a gift for classic songwriting. Justin has released two albums of original music — a solo record (Hot Water Sunday) and a record with his Americana quintet, The Working Effective (Dear Brooklyn) — and has toured both nationally and internationally. Joel has two albums of his own, Hear Me Out and Matador, the latter of which features contributions by members of Counting Crows and Train, and was hailed by CD Baby as “a classic sounding pop album full of bounce, melodic arch, and lyrical substance.” As a solo artist, Joel has played iconic venues such as San Francisco’s Fillmore Auditorium (opening for Phil Lesh and Friends) and The Great American Music Hall.

Bio:
Paulo Franco is a Richmond, Virginia based singer/ songwriter. In terms of recording, it may seem that Franco has come to the game later in life than some, but his musical journey has been a lifelong story. Born to Colombian immigrants and raised in Washington D.C., Paulo embraces his heritage as a first generation American and his songs and style reflect that.

He has recently included original Spanish songs into his songwriting, bringing a depth and a love of two cultures seldom seen during the same show or album. Paulo switches his voice from country twang, to rock anthem, to Spanish troubadour with ease. His vocals are so authentically Spanish that it’s easy to forget you just heard him effortlessly sing a country tune in English.
