We are excited to announce our return to Glass House Winery in Free Union for an upcoming fall performance. It will have been 7 months since our last show, and we are looking forward to playing our music and seeing friends and fans again. I hope you will join me and Brian Rimel for an afternoon of original songs, excellent wine, and handmade chocolates with friends in a super-cool listening space nestled in the Blue Ridge. Come on out and enjoy a nice autumn Sunday afternoon with us!

*** Let’s hope the weather gods cooperate — we’ve rescheduled this event from 09/25 to 10/16! ***
We’re in for a whopper of a sweet treat when the Gooey Gum Drops make their Glass House Winery debut. Self described as — An all-boy tribute to girl groups of the early 60s. This is the brainchild of the great Ramblin’ Davey Kulund. As Davey leads the charge with a thoughtful set of hits from The Ronettes, The Crystals, The Supremes, The Chordettes, The Shirelles, The Chiffons, etc… he’s corralled Matty Metcalfe on lead guitar, Justin Storer on drums, and Michael Clem on bass. With one show under their belt, the feedback was filled with manic screams & heaps of praise…. not to mention men’s underwear thrown on the stage.
Audience participation is welcome and encouraged…dress the part, and/or sing along to the tunes! It’s going to be an extra special, fun filled Friday night, October 16th, from 6 to 8:30pm. No cover.

The Blowbirds return to our tropical paradise here at Glass House Winery. Harmonica masters Gary Green & John Whitlow with Wave Milor – vocals/harmonica, Justin Storer -percussion/vocals/guitar, Larry Bisgaier – guitar/vocals and Bob Bowen – upright bass. Blues, jazz, original music that pairs perfectly with wine, chocolate and your best friends! Friday, November 6th, from 6 to 8:30pm. No cover.
To help with dinner plans, Firefly On The Fly food truck will be onsite offering a menu of their their seriously fresh and tasty, crowd pleasing favorite dishes.
Please note, weather permitting the music will be outdoors — set up under the eaves on the back deck.
In the case of inclement weather:
~ the music may be canceled
~ the music may move into the tropical conservatory where, due to social distancing requirements, there is limited, spaced seating (with overflow seating on the covered deck)
~ if the music moves into the conservatory, there may be a need to downsize the number of band members.
~ a passing light shower might be okay, but patrons should be prepared

We have plenty of spaced seating areas, the majority of which is outdoors — all seating areas are first come, based on what is available. We also have lots of room for tailgate/picnics on the grass, also first come.
We encourage you to bring your picnic blanket/ chairs. Pop up tents and personal grills are also welcome to be used at the overflow grassy tailgate and picnic areas. Picnics are welcome, barring any outside alcohol.
Groups over 8 wishing to sit together must phone ahead. Seating accommodations will be made based on what is available.
The Tasting Room Bar is closed from Friday at 5 pm through the weekend, EXCEPT for to go sales and wine club pick ups.
While we are not offering traditional tastings we have created several Wine Tasting Flights, including a Chocolate and a wine pairing flight.
