Join us in our tropical oasis for an evening filled with the fabulous music of the Paulien Quartet. Featuring Paulien’s beautiful vocals with accompaniment of some of the area’s finest musicians. Saturday, September 23rd, from 5 to 7:30pm. Open to all. No cover.

Bio:
Paulien’s distinctive voice has been well known in Europe since the mid-nineties from several recordings she mostly did in French. Now, she pays hommage to the Great American Song Book and classic French chanson; the perfect blend of jazz and popular French music of the 20th century.

In the Charlottesville area she performs with well seasoned local musicians, who are not just backup for the vocals, but are integral to the performance as a whole. So close your eyes, open your ears and float on her rediscovered sound from Paris.

Blowbirds - Green, Whitlow, & Milor, Storer, Bisgaier, & LaVelle [Salty Bottom Blue - Oysters]

It’s going to be an incredible Sunday Fun Day with the Blowbirds returning to our tropical paradise here at Glass House Winery. Featuring harmonica masters Gary Green & John Whitlow with Wave Milor – vocals/harmonica, Justin Storer -percussion/vocals/guitar, Larry Bisgaier – guitar/vocals and Andre LaVelle – upright bass. Blues, jazz, original music that pairs perfectly with wine, chocolate, and your best friends! Sunday, September 24th, from 2 to 5pm. Open to all. No cover.

Salty Bottom Blue Oysters will be onsite with their mobile oyster bar, shucking and serving up their “best-tasting high-salinity Chesapeake Bay oysters”! https://www.facebook.com/saltybottomblue

During the warm weather season, the music may perform outdoors, under the eaves of the back deck. Otherwise, and in the case of inclement weather, the music will be held inside our beautiful glass oasis – the tropical conservatory. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available first come, no reservations.

Picnics are welcome throughout the property, barring any outside alcohol. We have plentiful seating areas both inside the conservatory, and outdoors along the back deck, as well as in front of the conservatory, and there are several picnic tables spread across the lakefront. Feel free to bring your blankets/chairs. Pop up tents and personal grills are permitted for use in the overflow grassy tailgate and picnic areas.

Glass House Winery wines are available by the bottle and glass, and traditional tastings are being conducted at the Tasting Room Bar. *Our crowd pleasing Wine Slushies have returned for the season!* Also available are our Wine Flights, these are great for those who prefer to do a self guided tasting, simply order at the bar and take back to your table.
