Bobby Midnight Band with 106 Food Truck

The Bobby Midnight Band returns Glass House Winery with their ‘disco-funk-rock’ sounds. Performing live Friday, March 13th from 6 to 9 pm inside the tropical jungle room — the glass conservatory!

Bobby Midnight Band formed in 2014 in Charlottesville, Virginia. Blossoming from their decade-long partnership in regional favorite Trees on Fire, BMB’s original three members (Rob Mezzanotte, Brian J Wahl, and Paul Rosner) created their new project as a way to submerse themselves in shared roots – soul and rhythm & blues. Keyboardist Nick Cardoni brought increased musicality to the group and played on BMB’s debut album before trombonist Nathaniel Lee and guitarist/keyboardist Eric Knutson completed the lineup in 2017. Listen to Bobby Midnight Band’s latest single, “Right Back On It” on 106.1 The Corner and at www.rockfishmusic.com.

The Middle Fork Band makes their Glass House Winery debut! Entertaining all with their vast repertoire of popular covers. Performing live Friday, March 20th from 6 to 9 pm inside the tropics of the glass conservatory.

The four founding members Pat Burns, Dennis Moler, Marianne Carbocci, and Ray Carbocci had been getting together for a number of years for jam sessions. In 2016 Pat Burns had friends who opened a new winery in Fluvanna County and asked the group to provide the live music for their grand opening. The group got together over a number of weekends assembling songs and putting together an act. The Middle Fork Band was officially formed, featuring stellar harmonies, fantastic guitar playing, and Dennis’s prowess on bass. Middle Fork Band covers the Eagles, Crosby Stills and Nash, the Beatles, the Bee Gees, and the Everly Brothers, just to name a few. Depending on the crowd and the venue, a number of dance songs can also be performed.
