The Paulien Quartet will be here to get your weekend started with their incredible sounds. Featuring Paulien (vocals), Royce Campbell (guitar), Bob Bowen (bass), and Michael Elswick (sax). Performing live in our tropical paradise, Friday, November 19th, from 6 to 8:30pm. Open to all, no cover.

Bio:
Paulien’s distinctive voice has been well known in Europe since the mid-nineties from several recordings she mostly did in French. Now, she pays hommage to the Great American Song Book and classic French chanson; the perfect blend of jazz and popular French music of the 20th century.

In the Charlottesville area she performs with well seasoned local musicians, who are not just backup for the vocals, but are integral to the performance as a whole. So close your eyes, open your ears and float on her rediscovered sound from Paris.

To give a hand with your dinner plans, Martin’s Grill Burger Bus will be onsite. Offering a menu of their incredibly delicious burgers, cheesesteak, and bbq dishes made fresh to order.https://www.facebook.com/martinsgrillcville

Please note, weather permitting the music may be outdoors — set up under the eaves on the back deck. Glass House Winery owner Jay has recently added several fire pits along the deck adding a beautiful ambience as well as an aid to keep you cozy on the cooler days.

The weather may also be indoors. In the case of inclement weather (or severe temps):

~ the music may be canceled

~ the music may move into the tropical conservatory (with overflow seating on the covered deck)

~ a passing light shower might be okay, but patrons should be prepared
Please check our Social Media posts or call the Tasting Room for an update.

We have plenty of spaced seating areas, the majority of which is outdoors — all seating areas are first come, based on what is available. We also have lots of room for tailgate/picnics on the grass, also first come.

We encourage you to bring your picnic blanket/ chairs. Pop up tents and personal grills are also welcome to be used at the overflow grassy tailgate and picnic areas. Picnics are welcome throughout the property, barring any outside alcohol.

Glass House Winery wines are available by the bottle and glass, and we are also currently conducting traditional tastings at the Tasting Room Bar.

The following measures are in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all of our guests, as well as our staff:

Fully vaccinated patrons may choose to not wear a face mask.

We will be adhering to, and strictly enforcing, all requirements and guidelines as set forth by the Governor and the CDC, which include increased sanitization and cleaning procedures to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff.

At all times, please maintain the minimum safe distance from those not in your group.

We all know that music and dancing go hand in hand, however, if you are going to get up and groove to the tunes, we kindly ask that you stick to the vicinity of your seated area and wear your mask while doing so.

Children are welcome but must stay with you at all times. Consider bringing along games or other items to entertain them while seated. Well behaved dogs are also welcome but must remain on their leash at all times.
