We’re delighted to have Tyler Burkhardt return to our tropical space here in Free Union. He’ll be treating us to his amazing acoustic sounds. Ty performs solo, though if you close your eyes you’ll think there are more than one musician and more than one instrument. Sunday, January 22nd, from 2 to 5pm. No cover. Open to all.
Bio:
Tyler Burkhardt is an instrumental fingerstyle guitarist from
Richmond, VA who creates the sound of a full band by playing all the
parts simultaneously on his acoustic guitar. He began playing at
restaurants starting in his sophomore year of high school, and later,
he found himself playing all over Virginia. He is currently a jazz
student at UVA and Miller Arts Scholar who enjoys tennis and
volleyball. He enjoys playing a wide variety of music from popular
80’s songs to modern fingerstyle music by musicians like Andy McKee,
Mike Dawes, and Calum Graham.

During the cold weather season, the music is typically held inside our tropical glass conservatory. It’s truly a magical space to escape a cold winter’s day. On occasion, the music may take place outdoors, under the eaves of the back deck Both indoor and outdoor seating is available first come, no reservations.
We have picnicking areas spread across the lakefront property. Feel free to bring your blankets/chairs. Pop up tents and personal grills are also permitted to be used in the overflow grassy tailgate and picnic areas.
Picnics are welcome throughout the property, barring any outside alcohol. Glass House Winery wines are available by the bottle and glass, and traditional tastings are being conducted at the Tasting Room Bar.
The following measures are in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all of our guests, as well as our staff:
